CONVERSATION

expre opini.jpg

HERE YOU CAN SEE SOME EXPRESSIONS WE USE WHEN WE ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION IN ENGLISH. WE TRIED TO USE THEM IN CLASS WHEN WE DID THE DEBATES, AND TRY TO BEAR THEM IN MIND, SINCE MORE DEBATES WILL COME!!! ;)

Aquí os dejo las expresiones que podemos usar en una conversación en inglés. Las utilizamos el otro día en clase al hacer los debates. Tratad de tenerlas en cuenta, ya que ¡haremos más debates! ;)

Here you have the presentation about how do they celebrate Halloween in the USA that Jessica showed us. I hope you enjoy it.
This is the presentation on Thanksgiving day that Jessica showed us in class. As we had a lot of doubts about the history and the origins, further comments, and things you want to tell in class will be more than welcomed these days.
Last Wednesday (11/12/19) in conversation class,we did a debate about Christmas. The topics we were talking about were:
Have we lost the true meaning of Christmas?
Do children receive too many presents and they do not value feelings and effort anymore?

REMEMBER! Next week we will be talking about the Spanish and American traditions with Jessica, so she will explain about some traditions, and we will be telling her about ours. Be ready for it, think about some you want to share! You are free to bring photos or whatever you want to make it funnier!! :)

This Christmas week in the conversation class we have been speaking about traditions related with Christmas. Not only we have learnt some traditions they have in the USA, but Jessica (the language assistant) has learnt a lot about ours thank to what you have told. Thank you all for coming and have such a lovely evening! And plus, we ended up eating some pumpkin pie Jessica brought, it was really delicious! :)

Here is the presentation about politics in the USA that Jessica made and explained last day. We wish we had more time to speak about it because it was interesting, however, we can continue next day with more political related issues in the USA
This is the presentation about the guns in the USA that Jessica prepared for us, and below you've got the Kahoot about it. It was quite an interesting class. We're sorry we hadn't time for more, because the debate was great.
This week we have been practicing different ways to say hello and goodbye depending on the situation. After watching Jessica's presentation (below), we could practice a little bit. Well done!

Good morning!!

As we cannot do conversation as we do in class, Jessica has been working on a video to send to you. This week she has told you about how's quarantine in the USA and what she has been doing. Send Marta videos or audios of you telling Jessica what you have been doing.

Esta semana Jessica os ha mandado un vídeo en el que nos cuenta lo que ha hecho durante la cuarentena y cómo lo lleva. Podeís mandarme vídeos y se los haré llegar para contarle lo que habéis hecho vosotros.
